I personally haven’t owned a puffer coat since high school (Baby Phat, yeah…). Not because they weren’t fashionable to me, but I always wanted a more slimming option that I could wear anywhere. Even though I’ve been pulled back into the puffer world, the preference is the same. You can’t go wrong with a flattering jacket that’s trendy ENOUGH and keeps you warm.

Mid Length Puffer Jackets
This Adidas down puffer jacket is the perfect mix of sleek with an urban touch. I’ve been debating on it for a week. I LOVE the look and the fact that it is filled with duck down? Perfection.
Neutral color puffer jackets are so in and this option from J. Crew definitely caught my eye. It’s on sale right now with two sizes available so they’re apparently pretty popular. And it has a removable hood which is a huge plus for me.
There’s just something about Abercrombie’s puffer jackets that’s kept me on their site for longer than I’m proud of. I just can’t choose which to buy, but I was able to narrow it down to four. My absolute favorite, though, is the neutral color vegan leather quilted puffer. The pattern and color is irresistible.
The Athleta puffer has a gorgeous Python print that is so unique. And it’s currently on sale at the time of this post. We cannot argue with that.
Alo Yoga has so many cute puffer options! My favorite is the brown Gold Rush Puffer. I would definitely style this one for everyday errands and outdoor jogs in the colder temps.

I love shopping Old Navy for affordable essentials and this puffer did not disappoint. This rust brown color is so pretty plus it’s under $100. No objections here.
Long Length Puffers
Okay, I REALLY meant long length with this one. This Adidas knee length puffer coat is sure to be a showstopper and keep you warm. I definitely could style this one with sneakers or knee length black boots for any occasion.
Yes, another Abercrombie quilted option. I already said that I was obsessed. I’m so in love with the elegant details and I can definitely see this styled with a pair of cute faux leather pants.
These two long black puffer coats from Bloomingdale’s are simply gorgeous. Splurge alert on this SAM coat but oh my goodness, the shearling trim and belt detail is breathtaking. The Cole Haan puffer is a lot more affordable with a cinched waist detail so you get the similar flattering effect.
Alo Yoga’s details never disappoint. I fell for the front pockets on this puffer. I really love that the have a zip closure with a utility look.
Had to drop another Athleta option. This puffer is lightweight with a removable faux fur hood. I also love the 2 way zippers on the sides.
