Finding the right foundation can be tricky. Finding the right foundation shade that matches you perfectly? New level of tricky unlocked! I am very selective when foundation shopping, not only because I have sensitive skin but it can easily be overwhelming to find the best foundation for my combination skin type. Things can get ghosty or patchy really quick. Same? You’re in the right place!

I have a number of Huda Beauty products in my makeup routine already so when I heard about the new Huda Beauty Easy Blur Foundation, I ran to Sephora as soon as I could get my hands on it. Since purchasing, I have put it to the test and spoiler alert, it does what it’s supposed to do! But just in case you have questions or would like to know more, let’s get into this review!
A Closer Look at the Huda Beauty Easy Blur Foundation
The Easy Blur Natural Airbrush Foundation with Niacinamide was released worldwide online and in-stores on September 2, 2024. The liquid foundation at a glance is listed to be lightweight, medium-to-buildable coverage, non-comedogenic (liquid foundation that doesn’t clog pores), ultra-blurring, comfortable and easy to apply. It is also vegan and cruelty-free. Sounds amazing? It sure did to me!
I also loved that Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty, mentioned on Instagram that she stopped using filters in 2021 which sparked a change in the way that they make their products. I’ve also been on a mission to use less filters so that really helped to seal the deal on my purchase.
First Impression of the Easy Blur Foundation
The first good sign about this foundation was that it was very easy to guess the exact shade online before verifying it in-store at Sephora. There was no question that my shade would be Dulce De Leche 350G. It always takes a good bit of pressure from the foundation-buying process when you are easily able to pinpoint your shade because if you know, you know!
I was a little adventurous with this one…my FIRST TIME wearing it was during New York Fashion Week! So it would need to not only photograph well, but also be durable. My initial impression was uh oh, it’s a little “runny” which scares me, but immediately after applying the product, I knew that we had a winner!
The foundation has no scent whatsoever (hi, sensitive skin friends!) and it genuinely is extremely lightweight with the most natural, gorgeous finish. One layer gave the “no-makeup glam” look and I was easily able to apply a second layer, which was the exact coverage that I needed. We love a good foundation that doesn’t cake!
I have worn the foundation several times since New York, and each time my makeup has remained simply stunning throughout the day. No exaggerating, you will receive compliments! I haven’t had any breakouts since using and I want to give one more callout how lightweight it is. It’s unreal! Also, when it comes to how to best apply this foundation, I used my trusty Morphe M439 Deluxe Buffer Complexion Brush, however Huda Beauty also has a specific Easy Blur Base Brush available (also available in Mini size).
Is the Huda Beauty Easy Blur Foundation Worth It?
The Easy Blur Foundation is currently $37, there is also a mini version available at $15. This one is an easy yes, it is worth the buy. Easy! It’s amazing that the mini is an option if you would prefer it over immediately committing to the full size. Both are also great foundation sizes for plane travel.
Have you tried the Easy Blur Foundation yet? What are your thoughts?
