The Abercrombie Curve Love jeans have been EVERYWHERE lately and who are we if we don’t find out why? I tried these curvy jeans in the past with no luck but decided to try again. And this time, I have to say that I’m surprised!
My problem was that I didn’t exactly know how to order my size in Abercrombie jeans as a 5’7 woman with curves. So I’m here to reduce your guesswork on the process before you order.

Abercrombie Curve Love Vs Regular: What’s the Difference & Which Do You Need?
The difference between the Curve Love and regular sized Abercrombie jeans is all about the hip and thigh measurements. This area is described as the fullest part of your low hip. The curvy jeans all have an extra 2″ in the hip and thigh measurements vs the regular fit jeans.
Basically from personal experience, don’t hesitate to go with the curvy fit if your hips extend past your waist more than a little bit. You can always choose the regular fit and size up, but you would be risking the waist gap that we all try to avoid.
Do Abercrombie Curve Love Jeans Stretch?
This is a very common question when it comes to Abercrombie denim. Lots of people also ask if the curve love jeans fit similar to the American Eagle curvy jeans.
When I tried them on, I noticed that the jeans had JUST ENOUGH stretch to get over the hip area but that was it. It is a sort of rigid feel, which gives them a more expensive and higher quality look to me.
I’ll have to see how they fit after a wash, but I’ve heard that they maintain their form and don’t stretch much over time. Abercrombie’s site notes that while measuring your low hip area, the tape needs to fit comfortably. Pay extra attention to that tip for sure because you don’t have much stretch room.
Are the Curve Love Jeans True to Size?
Another common concern is if Abercrombie jeans run small. This was always my issue in the past! I could never get the fit just right but I do believe the size chart has drastically improved since then. If you measure carefully and stick to the chart, you should be fine but I will mention the length of the jeans.
I’m 5’7 and the long length was JUST long enough for me. If I would have gotten the regular length, they would have definitely been too short so definitely take that into consideration. When it comes to if you should size up or down, I would advise to try your best to match the chart. But if you’re in-between sizes (like me), be safe and size up on these.
Curve Love 90s Ultra High Rise Straight Jeans Review
Overall, I’m IN LOVE with these jeans. The distressed detail is just right without being too much and there’s no waist gap. I’m 5’7, 172 lbs and the 29L fit just right. I do wish that I could have exchanged for the 30L before they sold out just to have a little more room for any slight changes. Although these fit perfectly, remember what I said about the stretch. I can see these becoming slightly uncomfortable after a meal, something to keep in mind.
The light wash is perfection and I love them even more styled with the linen corset crop top for a summer outfit. They will also make the perfect straight jeans for Fall styled with a cute pair of booties. So are they worth the hype? I say go for it!
