After recently relocating homes, one of the top items on my to-do list was to buy a new shower head! I researched the best filtered shower heads for weeks and decided to finally go for the popular Jolie Filtered Showerhead.
This particular filtered shower head gets a ton of speculation online so I was excited to try it and bring my honest review here. It’s been a full two weeks so let’s take a look at the Jolie shower head and if it is really worth it.

The Facts and Are Shower Filters Worth It?
Before getting into the details on the Jolie shower head and why it was my top choice, it’s important to recount exactly why incorporating a filtered shower head changed my life, not to be dramatic. Hard water can not only be damaging to your skin, hair and indoor environment, but can also become costly with the extra skincare products to manage skin dryness and even breakouts or eczema that you may experience. Add on the extra products to combat hair frizziness and/or shedding that your water may be gifting to you.
I had unexplained hair loss, dry, flaky skin (that did not exist before), breakouts and constantly cleaned hard water stains and scum buildup until I decided to try a filtered shower head. I noticed an immediate improvement but my previous shower head only lasted for about 2 years since it wasn’t the best quality. Now that I knew a filtered shower head was a must-have for me, an upgrade was mandatory.
What makes the Jolie Showerhead different or stand out from the rest? Aside from loving the design and color options, the Jolie is the only clinically proven shower filter having undergone 6 independent third-party studies. This is amazing especially considering that all studies resulted in extremely high results such as 81% experienced less hair shedding by an average of 56% less hair and 94 – 100% experienced smoother skin texture and more hydrated skin. Jolie Showerhead Review
The Jolie Filtered Showerhead has five color options: Modern Chrome, Brushed Steel, Jet Black, Brushed Gold and Vibrant Red. I chose the Brushed Steel since it was an exact match to my bathroom fixtures. The showerhead was securely packaged and included a tiny wrench along with plumber’s tape for an easy install (huge plus). It was very easy to replace the existing showerhead in minutes and my immediate first reaction was how the Jolie made the shower appear much more updated and modern.
After the first shower, I knew that I wouldn’t regret the investment. My skin felt noticeably softer and smoother plus no white film on my skin afterwards which is common with hard water. During the two weeks since, that feeling hasn’t changed and I look forward to taking showers knowing that my skin’s natural moisture isn’t being stripped.
I 100% love the Jolie showerhead so far and highly recommend it. I purchased mine from Amazon; at the time of this article, the showerhead is available at $169 with the replacement shower filter at $38 recommended to be changed every 90 days. I’ve seen a few reviews noting that they had a little trouble with replacing the filter so this article will be updated after my first 90 day filter change.
