This year was my first New York Fashion Week experience and it was hectic as we only had the weekend, but so much fun! After being invited by Runway 7 Fashion to attend a few of their shows, my mom and I booked our flights and the rest was history. I had no idea what to expect as I had never attended NYFW let alone New York before but I definitely wanted my looks to be fun and trendy while sticking to my original style.

Cargo Skirt Outfit
Cargo has made a comeback this year and I couldn’t wait to wear it to one of the streetwear shows. The Dallas Skirt by Veronica Beard was perfect for the occasion especially with the army/olive green color being very on trend in 2024.
I paired it with the Emelia Combo Denim Jacket also from Veronica Beard with a GANNI tank top and we can’t forget the Mischief Denim Embellished Boots from Azalea Wang. I can definitely see another cargo skirt with knee high boots outfit in my future for Fall.
Flare Jeans
We’re loving our wide leg and flare jeans this season so I had to do a fun very flare leg look (but not too flare) to play around with exactly what to wear with flare jeans.
I paired the Veronica Beard Sheridan Exaggerated Flare jeans with a Jason Wu crop blazer, the perfect classic denim look for the second streetwear show. I love that this look was ideal for the streetwear show, but could also be easily worn on a day to day.

Pleated Maxi Skirt Outfit
Pleated maxi and midi skirts have also made a comeback this year and I LOVE it because these have always been a favorite of mine. You can style them with a blazer or crop top and it would still be a win. I paired this Katz maxi skirt from Alice + Olivia with a crop pearl trim cardigan from Tahari for a fun classy look to attend the gown show.
