2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Fall Finds

Have you been shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year? The 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is currently open to the public for all to shop regardless of if you are a cardholder or not!

The sale ends on August 8 so there is still time to grab some cute essential pieces at awesome prices.

On the first day that the sale opened to the public, I just had to go to in-store to try on some pieces. This sale is the PERFECT time to grab some nice essential pieces for Fall. It is also handy to grab some transition pieces if you want to rock your finds sooner than later.

What to Buy for Fall from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

With so many options in the sale, it’s easy to get overwhelmed deciding what’s really worth buying. Here’s where I hopefully make life a lot easier for you! Here are a few pieces that I tried and personally LOVED.

Vince Bomber Jacket (Medium) with Rag & Bone Nina Jeans (Size 30)

I’m usually not into puff jackets but this one! As you can see, it’s not too puffy and it’s a little cropped so it still flatters your figure enough while still giving the urban look. It was also super soft and lightweight but still VERY WARM. Winner! I paired it with the Rag & Bone Nina high waist skinny jeans. I was in love with these and refused to leave them at the store.

BLANKNYC Crewneck Sweater (Medium) with Coach Crossbody Bag

This BLANKNYC sweater stuck out to me because of the padded shoulders. Padded shoulder tops have been trendy this summer; it looks like it’s going to continue into the fall and winter for sure. Sometimes padding tends to make my shoulders look too square but with this sweater, that wasn’t the case so thumbs up! I thought that it was very cute paired with the canteen leather crossbody bag from Coach. Also wearing the same Rag & Bone Nina jeans!

Free People Turtleneck Sweater (XS) with Good American Pants (Size 3) & Veronica Beard Bootie (Size 9)

After seeing this Free People oversized sweater EVERYWHERE, I was so excited to try it on. If you don’t want it to be too oversized, I recommend sizing one down. I definitely would have gotten a size small in this for the longer, more loose look. I tried this sweater on with the Good American Boss Skinny pants.

I loved the look of these pants, however, there is a type of flap material in the waist area that made the fit a little weird. Also pictured are the Veronica Beard booties…OMG! That’s all I can say about them haha in love is an understatement.

Nordstrom Signature Silk Shirt (Small) and Pants (Medium) Set

Huge spoiler alert: I went CRAZY about this set from the moment I saw it! This was also a favorite on Instagram Stories so I consider it a no-brainer. The set is very soft and flattering. I loved that it could pass for a fancy set of pajamas or a dressy outdoor moment.

Thread & Supply Corduroy Shirt Jacket (Medium) with Rag & Bone Nina Jeans (Size 30)

Are we going to have another shacket trending moment this Fall? We will find out but either way, I LOVED this corduroy shirt jacket. The color was so fun and I loved the frayed, urban look of it. I can see this styled so many ways for Fall and Winter plus it’s a little unique so you know we always love that!

Madewell Bobble Cardigan Sweater (Medium)

Every single Anniversary Sale, it never fails, you have to get at least one Madewell cardigan. It’s almost like a tradition! I loved the cute look and fit of this one, plus as usual, it was so soft I didn’t want to take it off. Also if you work from home and love to wear cozy pieces while working like me, you need this one!

CASLON Sweater Hoodie (Small) and Sweatpants (Medium) Set

Speaking of cozy pieces, this set was also another thing I had a hard time taking off. So perfect for work from home or just a cozy day or evening in. If my cozy pieces are too loose, I have a hard time being productive at all so I loved that this one was more fitted.

Reiss Roma Colorblock Sweater (Small) and Treasure & Bond Turtleneck Sweater (Small)

Let’s talk about cozy gray sweaters. After trying these on, I got the feeling that I don’t have nearly enough gray sweaters in my closet!

The Reiss colorblock sweater was super soft and I couldn’t get enough of the white and gray contrast. The Treasure & Bond sweater was, again, very soft (see a pattern here?) and I loved the fact that it could be styled many different ways. Winter basics for the win!

Frame Crochet Sweater (Small) with Rag & Bone Nina Jeans, Helen Kaminski Fedora Hat and Dolce Vita Bootie (Size 10)

If you asked me to describe the perfect Fall outfit, I would have to use this one as an example. I was obsessed with this Frame crochet sweater, the details are insane! I loved how it paired with the Rag & Bone jeans, boots and hat. It looks like we are going to have a chunky boots moment this Fall and I’m here for it! I’m usually a 9.5 in boots but there was only a size 10 available to get a feel for the look.

Frame Crochet Sweater with BLANKNYC Zip Suede Miniskirt (Medium)

I decided to see how the Frame crochet sweater paired with the zip suede miniskirt from BLANKNYC; so cute! The Veronica Beard bootie and Helen Kaminski wool hat also completed the Fall feel.

Treasure & Bond Oversized Ruana

Everyone has to have at least one shawl in their closet. This one size oversized ruana felt just like a blanket and was super stylish.
